The support you can expect as a care leaver: the local offer

This guide explains what support, advice and services are available to you if you are a Southwark Council care leaver between 18 and 25 years old. 

Southwark Council is a Corporate Parent to Looked After Children and Care Leavers. That means that we have a special responsibility to look after them, and always provide them with the best possible support and care.

We’ve put together this guide with the help of care leavers from Southwark. If you’d like to double check any of the official words used in this document, we’ve put together a list of what some of the key words mean at the very end.
